Behavior Assessment & Treatment Plan
- Develop a comprehensive needs’ assessment involving gathering information from the following sources of information:
- Interview with care giver(s) regarding the client’s developmental and family history
- Observation of client’s behaviors in the home setting
- Review records and available data (e.g., educational, medical, historical) at the outset of the case.
- Conduct assessments of relevant skill strengths and deficits
- Conduct a functional analysis of problem behavior
- Develop a treatment plan prioritizing targeted behaviors
- State intervention goals in observable and measurable terms
- Monitor client progress and treatment integrity
- Collaborate with others who support and/or provide services to clients
