QMHP-C Home-Based Counselor

 

Job Type: Contract (1099)

Nature of work:

This is a professional work designed to provide intensive crisis intervention services and ongoing stability to mental health clients. Work is assigned with emphasis on goals and objectives through specified interventions. Supervision is provided on an ongoing basis.

  • Work may be performed in diverse settings such as home, school, church, or office. With flexible hours and schedules available.

General duties and responsibilities:

1. Provides individual, family and group therapy (at the office for outpatient treatment).

2. Provides intensive counseling for child/family (2 or 3 times weekly at the client's home).

3. Provides crisis intervention services.

4. Implements goal-oriented individualized treatment services. .

5. Prepares reports in a timely manner.

6. Attends all meetings related to client and organizational trainings.

7. Keeps abreast of evidence based clinical approaches through supervision and training.

Required general knowledge, skills and abilities:

1. Sufficient knowledge of and experience applying counseling techniques based on clients' needs.

2. Ability to work on a team treatment approach.

3. Be able to document interventions and progress in goal attainment.

4. Ability to communicate and determine proper techniques and methods for intervening in varying clinical situations.

5. Ability to effective provide services to culturally diverse clients.

6. Ability to assume individual responsibility for professional development and willingness to widen experience and keep abreast of current trends in counseling and cross-cultural issues.

7. Spanish or other bilingual fluency preferred.

Cross-Cultural Outpatient Counselor

 Job Type: Contract (1099)

The Multicultural Clinical Center is seeking a highly skilled Cross-Cultural Outpatient Clinician to join our team. A clinician who is passionate about providing mental health support to individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds with experience and knowledge in working with cross-cultural populations would be the best fit for our team.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments in person and develop individualized treatment plans for clients from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

- Provide Evidence-Based therapy in person to individuals, children, teens couples, and families, considering cultural nuances and sensitivities.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.

- Implement culturally appropriate interventions and techniques to promote positive mental health outcomes.

- Ensure all required documents are completed and uploaded to the HER on time according to MCC and VA Regulations

Requirements

- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a mental health clinician in the state.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in outpatient settings with cross-cultural populations.

- Demonstrated knowledge of cultural competence and the ability to apply it effectively in clinical practice.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

 Full-time and Part Time Position available

Seeking energetic and passionate individuals interested in working with children with Autism and related developmental disorders within a diverse cultural environment.

Qualifications:

· Masters Degree and a current BCBA License

· Experience providing in-home ABA services to children and families.

· Experience with ABA-based skills assessments (ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, and AFLS).

· Sensitivity to and understanding of people of diverse cultures.

Responsibilities:

· Providing direct services to the client and the families.

· Collect and analyze data for report writing.

· Conduct initial and ongoing assessments.

· Develop Individualized Treatment Service Plans.

ABA Behavior Technician

 Seeking energetic and passionate individuals interested in working with children with Autism and related developmental disorders within a diverse cultural environment.


Qualifications:

· Associates degree or Equivalent or enrolled in a bachelor’s program in psychology, social work, special education, or related field.

· Valid driver's license and independent transportation in addition to passing a background check.

· Passion for working with children and/or special needs population.

· Sensitivity to and understanding of people of diverse cultures.

Responsibilities

· Work with children with behavioral challenges, communication and social adaptive skills deficits utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis scientific based interventions.

· Conduct supplementary assessments and implement behavior treatment plan under the direction of the BCBA

· Collect and document data during sessions.
